The Henderson Dollar Loan Center is a community facility, home to four local sports teams and the Southern Nevada Sports Hall of Fame. It also acts as a host venue for major sports tournaments, concerts, events and shows.
The state-of-the-art venue features high levels of advanced technology and security. Informative digital signage, vibrant displays and in-game entertainment enhance the overall visitor experience, both inside and outside the Center. Security and surveillance are also critical elements, protecting the Center’s valuable assets and ensuring the safety of visitors.
To support multiple technology systems and maximize security throughout the venue, Electrosonic designed and delivered an integrated Security, Surveillance and Access Control solution and a comprehensive Information, Communications and Technology (ICT) infrastructure.
Electrosonic provided Technology Master Planning™ services to design the technology rooms, demarcation room and data center. We then carried out design, documentation and construction administration for the buildout of the data center and technology rooms.
To support the audiovisual, building management, ICT and surveillance systems, Electrosonic designed a venue-wide cabling infrastructure. The horizontal cabling infrastructure supports the data cabling to offices, locker rooms, private suites, point-of-sale locations, floor boxes, wall boxes, ticket booths and other locations throughout the venue.
Electrosonic devised a robust backbone fiber and copper infrastructure, streamlining cabling across the building's networks for enhanced connectivity with fewer cables.
To maximize security Electrosonic designed an integrated access control, video surveillance and alarm and intrusion detection system for both the interior and exterior. We also designed the security monitoring room and security/surveillance data center equipment.
The integrated solution gives the security team a 360-degree view of incidents or risks throughout the venue. This enables the team to manage crowd control and quickly identify and respond to incidents or threats.
Ensuring crowd safety is a major challenge in a venue with a capacity of 6000 and multiple spaces. The security solution had to minimize inconvenience and ensure smooth traffic flow while maximizing safety. It also had to provide security teams with comprehensive situational awareness to enable rapid response to threats or incidents. The infrastructure solution had to support diverse technology and security systems throughout the interior and exterior space while simplifying control and management.
Electrosonic worked closely with the City of Henderson and Golden Knights Security to ensure all areas of the building are covered. The integrated security and surveillance solutions provide comprehensive interior and exterior coverage to meet the standards set by the city authorities.
