Electrosonic, the award-winning audiovisual and technology services company, is strengthening its senior leadership team with the promotion of two key personnel. Alex Westerh is promoted to Vice President, Global Marketing and Cindy Ospina is promoted to become Director of Project Management, US. Both Westerh and Ospina are highly experienced in their respective roles in the audiovisual industry and will make an important contribution to Electrosonic’s plans to support its customers globally.
Westerh moves up from his role as Director of Marketing to develop and execute global marketing strategy aligned to overall business strategy. He will continue report to Sean McChesney, Chief Revenue Officer, working closely with the team to continue to grow the business internationally. He leads a team of marketing professionals to drive the development of integrated marketing programs that resonate with the target audience and differentiate Electrosonic across all key market sectors.
Having joined Electrosonic almost seven years ago, Westerh is an experienced marketer and creative problem solver with a demonstrated 10-year history of driving measurable results through demand creation, campaign management, digital marketing, field marketing and marketing strategy. He holds an MBA from Cleveland State University and a degree in Journalism and Strategic Communications from Ohio University.

Ospina is promoted from her role as Senior Project Manager to lead the day-to-day activities of Electrosonic’s project management team in the US, reporting to Andrew Menendez, VP Operations in the US. She is responsible for coordinating, assigning and supporting the work of project managers, while maintaining the highest standards of quality across entertainment, cultural and commercial sectors.
She is an experienced audiovisual professional with strong technical and project management qualifications and more than seven years’ practical experience managing large-scale, long-term projects. She holds a degree from University of Illinois Chicago, is a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and Certified Technology Specialist (CTS). Since joining Electrosonic in 2021, she has played a key role in managing some of Electrosonic’s largest and most iconic projects in the US.
