Experience Redefined: ISE2019 Emerging Technologies for Attractions
Successful attractions always start with a compelling story, told in an engaging and memorable way. Technology enables the communication of that story to audiences in the most compelling way possible.
Today’s society has access to immersive, AI and 3D technologies in their own homes; therefore attractions need to constantly reinvent themselves and offer visitors unique experiences they cannot recreate themselves.
Electrosonic’s Technology Design Team attended ISE 2019, below are some of the show-stopping technologies on display that can help redefine attractions, experiences and spaces, and keep visitors coming back for more.
LG's Curve of Nature
LG’s Curve of Nature provides a truly mesmerizing experience. OLED 4K screens create running waterfalls and dramatic waves that sweep visitors off their feet. This hypnotic one-of-a-kind exhibit uses curved screens and mirrors, which allows footage of glaciers and blizzards to spill from top to bottom creating the illusion of infinity.
Relationship Building
As with any business, when adding a new exhibit, ride or attraction, you will need to consider budget, space, after care and maintenance costs. We recommend designers and architects engage with an audiovisual consultant/designer from the very beginning of the project, to ensure its smooth running to time and budget.
For more crowd-wowing technology from ISE, to include projected interactive and immersive tunnels, transparent displays that could be a game changer for galleries and museums, LEDs of different shapes and sizes, including head turning curved screens and large video walls which help to communicate messages and create your desired mood and atmosphere, click here to read the full article.
In this article, we also discuss the limitations of using virtual reality and the rise of augmented reality. Plus, we talk about the importance of audio and how an immersive soundscape will ensure visitors receive a multi-sensory experience, taking your attraction and performance venues to new, unprecedented heights.
